In 1934, Arthur James Padelford went into business for himself and never looked back, building a strong company and a long-lasting legacy in Southern California. Eight decades later, we continue to honor him with the lengths we go to ensure every project is built with quality in mind.
The storage industry is on a growth spurt right now and AJP is definitely on board. We’ve completed multiple storage projects ranging from multiple stories with and without sub-terrainian levels to your basic façade remodel with locker replacements.
Markets have been a staple for AJP for many years. We’ve built markets all over California for many different companies and still do. Whether the market is ground up, remodel or a fixture change out we’ve done them all.
For years AJP was known for building the majority of Home Depots during the construction boom from the 80’s all the way into the 2000’s. Our experience paved the way for many other large retail projects that we’ve completed successfully over the years and still do to this day.
Whether it’s a beverage warehouse, beverage distributor or a hub for a nationwide furniture distributor we’ve had our share of industrial construction as well. Nothing goes together faster than a square box with a small office package.
AJP has had an array of different types of retail projects consisting of everything from ground up retail shopping centers, façade remodels or even your single shop TI. Our diversity in retail provides all of the experienced needed to complete any type of retail construction.
Part of AJP’s history involves a lot of car dealerships. At one point we had built or remodeled the majority of the Cerritos Auto Square. Any type of construction a car dealership has required we’ve performed and continue to do so.
